Forged Path Automation was founded by Chris Urban, a seasoned process engineer who has spent decades working inside manufacturing environments — on the floor, in the cell, and in the middle of real production challenges.

Chris Urban brings 25 years of hands-on manufacturing and leadership experience, growing multiple businesses from small subsidiaries to multimillion-dollar operations with global reach. He has led complex facility expansions, international business development, and the successful launch and sale of multiple manufacturing ventures. In 2025, Chris founded Forged Path Automation to simplify and automate manufacturing processes, applying his deep expertise to deliver practical, turnkey solutions alongside his customers.

Over and over again, he saw the same gap in the industry: automation providers selling equipment without fully owning the process.

Forged Path Automation was created to close that gap.
